ACI's new statutes, new governance, Eddie Tan new Chairman
ACI The Financial Markets Association adopted new statutes and new governance
during the 52nd World Congress held in Singapore from the 14th until the 16th of
March.
With immediate effect, the association will be managed by the Managing Board
composed of the Regional Presidents (Brigid Taylor for Africa, Eddie Tan for
Asia, Philippe Jeanne for Europe, Amr El Ganainy for the Middle East) and the
CFO Luciano Turba.
Eddie Tan, who was Vice President of ACI prior to the Congress, was appointed
Chairman.
In the coming months the newly created position of a full time President will be
filled. The successful candidate will be presented to the Delegates at the next
Council in Paris on October 25th 2013.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Manfred Wiebogen who tirelessly
and successfully took the association to new heights during his tenure as
President. Abiding by the statutes, he stepped down as President after
completing his second mandate.
