Nimble Storage's Low-Friction, High-Margin Channel Program Currently Accounts for More Than 95 Percent of Nimble's Revenue

Nimble's partners realize the continual growth of the company's partner services and reseller success through Nimble's channel-centric business model, which now accounts for 95 percent of Nimble's sales. Channel Chiefs are leaders in creating effective channel programs for solution providers. They consistently defend, promote and execute effective channel partner programs and strategies.
Carnes brings more than 15 years of storage and channel experience to the team at Nimble Storage. She is actively involved in growing strategic partnerships, on-boarding new partners and building Nimble's global channel go-to-market strategies.

Channel commitment: More than 95 percent of Nimble's business is conducted through the channel, and more than 50 percent of its business is initiated by its partners. Plus, Nimble's deal registration program provides deal protection and attractive margins for its partners.
Channel enablement: Nimble instituted a program via which partners receive comprehensive day-long product and implementation training at no charge.
Solution selling: Nimble has invested extensively in creating pre-validated solutions with large partners such as VMware, Cisco and CommVault that are targeted at various datacenter use cases such as server virtualization, VDI and data protection. These solutions provide partners a way to sell bundles of products and increase their revenues.
Carnes is a strong evangelist of Nimble's flash-optimized hybrid storage arrays, which are engineered from the ground up for maximum efficiency. Nimble products integrate the exceptional performance of flash with the favorable economics of high-capacity hard disk drives -- making them ideal for storing and protecting data for critical applications such as Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, server virtualization and VDI.
