Oklahoma Selects AssetWorks State and Federal Surplus Management Software
Functionality to streamline processes and provide enhanced reporting for the Oklahoma Division of Capital Asset Management
(firmenpresse) - OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/02/13 -- AssetWorks Inc., a leading provider of solutions, today announced that the Oklahoma Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) has signed a contract for a comprehensive (SMS) solution from AssetWorks. The solution fully interfaces with the AssetWorks application, FleetFocus, which OMES already uses to manage its State vehicle fleet.
The surplus property program is already a widely-used, highly-beneficial service for our customers, and we expect the new SMS will help make it even stronger," said Oran Redden, Administrator of the Property Reutilization Division of the OMES Division of Capital Assets Management.
As part of the SMS implementation, OMES can rely on AssetWorks' Counter Sales, Live Auction, and Web Surplus modules to facilitate the redistribution and sale of State surplus property, while the Federal Surplus module can facilitate the donation of Federal surplus property.
The Federal Surplus module includes over 30 standard reports and provides comprehensive functionality for the , as well as the 1122 program. By interfacing to GSAXcess, SMS automatically transfers data for allocated federal property. The fully integrated solution can help OMES save time and improve accuracy by minimizing data re-entry, providing seamless access to data and maximizing transaction efficiency.
