Premier Alliance Selected by The Ojai Valley Sanitary District to Implement Automated Demand Response at Water Treatment Facility
(firmenpresse) - CHARLOTTE, NC -- (Marketwired) -- 04/03/13 -- Premier Alliance Group, Inc., (OTCQB: PIMO) a strategic advisory, services, and solutions firm providing 360 degrees Intelligence Delivery through Knowledge Based Expertise ("KBE") focused on energy efficiency and operational risk aspects, announced today that its Energy and Sustainability Division has been engaged to implement Southern California Edison's (SCE) Automated Demand Response (Auto-DR) program at the Ojai Valley Sanitary District (OVSD) treatment plant approximately 70 miles west of downtown Los Angeles.
The scope of the project includes the installation of control systems that will allow the safe and systematic shutdown of two large aerator motors that are used during the oxidation process. An initial comprehensive audit, conducted by Premier Alliance engineers, identified the 120 kilowatts of energy use as an ideal opportunity to reduce consumption during high summer demand periods while maintaining full treatment capacity and full sanitation of water being pumped back into the Ventura River. OVSD continues to focus on energy efficiency and green energy solutions.
