MAPAL invests EUR 15 million at the Aalen headquarters

(PresseBox) - In order to meet the continuing strong demand for precision tools, MAPAL has further expanded the production capacities at the headquarters in Aalen. New production facilities with an investment volume of EUR 15 million and covering an area of 6,000 m² have been built in line with the successful "factory in factory" model. Apart from the production of ISO tools and tool bodies, the design engineering, job preparation and technical support for these product units are now concentrated in the new Hall 7.
Some 2,500 m² of the new hall are dedicated to the training workshop which now has twice as much space as in the past. "We have thus created optimum condition for future-oriented, qualified training of our 130 apprentices, and laid the foundation for developing our own specialists in the future," says Dr. Dieter Kress, President, commenting on the great importance attached to qualified training at MAPAL.
