AMA Houston's Crystal Awards Entries Due Wednesday, April 10th
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 04/09/13 -- The American Marketing Association Houston Chapter's 27th Annual Crystal Awards entry deadline is on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 4:00 p.m., with a late deadline option of April 17, 2013 at a higher fee. This year there are 60+ categories in which to enter, ranging from full marketing campaigns in B2B, B2C and nonprofit to specific projects such as branding, advertising, research, public relations, writing, graphic design, collateral, packaging, events, online and social media. A panel of distinguished marketing professionals from outside the Houston area will score entries to determine the finalists and winners, which will be announced at the Crystal Awards gala on May 23, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Houston. The gala evening includes a networking cocktail reception and viewing of the finalists' entries followed by seated dinner and entertainment. Last year's Crystal Awards set new records with an attendance of over 550.
A portion of the proceeds from the event supports AMA Houston Gives Back, the chapter's philanthropic arm that provides grants for qualified marketing related endeavors of local non-profit organizations, helping them to better serve their communities. Grant applications will be accepted online at through April 12, 2013. Last year the chapter awarded a record $15,000 in grants. The seven grant recipients, selected from a record 39 applications, were Bering Support Network, Child Builders, Dionysus Theatre, Friends of Texas Wildlife, Living Forward Alliance, Justice for Children, and The Rose.
