Purpose Is to Encourage and Equip Business Leaders to Abound in Goodness


(firmenpresse) - BLOOMFIELD, CT -- (Marketwired) -- 04/12/13 -- What would Jesus do if He were running your business? Find out at the Fellowship of Companies for Christ International (FCCI) 2013 Northeast Regional Conference on Friday, June 14 at St. Thomas Seminary, 467 Bloomfield Avenue. Check-in and continental breakfast will begin at 8 am, with the conference officially starting at 9:30 am and ending at 7:30 pm. The conference is open to business owners, entrepreneurs, sole proprietors, presidents, chief executive officers and partners who desire to be Christlike in their personal lives and in how they operate their businesses each day.

This year's theme is Abounding in Goodness. Through a series of keynote addresses and breakout sessions, attendees will be encouraged and equipped to be good Christian men and women operating good businesses. Serving as emcee will be Drew Crandall, FCCI Northeast Region Director and owner of Keep In Touch, a marketing and media business in Vernon, CT.

Keynote addresses will include: Abounding in Goodness because Life is Short by John C. Carmon, President of Carmon Funeral Homes in Windsor, CT; Abounding in Goodness in Social/Community Service by Marian Noronha, President & CEO of Turbocam in Barrington, NH; and Abounding in Goodness for Kingdom-building by Terence Chatmon, President & CEO of the Fellowship of Companies for Christ International in Atlanta, GA.

Breakout sessions will include At the Core: What is a Good Christian Man by Gary Smith, Owner of Optimum Performance Technologies in Southington, CT; At the Core: What is a Good Christian Woman by Betsy Roy, National Director of Women of the Word in Longmeadow, MA; Goodness as it relates to Your Strategic Planning and Culture by Bob Benoit, Principal, Benoit CPA in Worcester, MA; Goodness as it relates to Your Research and Development by David Romano, Silicon Architect at Intel Corporation in Hudson, MA; Goodness as it relates to Your Sales and Marketing by April Williams, Owner of North Star Marketing in North Kingstown, RI; Goodness as it relates to Your Human Resources by Jack Frost, Principal of Firm Foundations in Bernardsville, NJ; Goodness as it relates to Your Production/Manufacturing by Ken Mazzochi, General Manager of Automated Production Systems at Turbocam in Barrington, NH; Goodness as it relates to Your Finances by Walter Kelly, Founder of Kelly Financial Corporation in Old Lyme, CT; Goodness as it relates to Your Legal Affairs by Mark E. Wright, Esquire, Beacon, NY; and Goodness as it relates to Your Facilities by David Fay, President & CEO of the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford, CT.





During the buffet lunch and dinner, testimonies will be shared by LaSonya Thompson, Esquire, FCCI New York City Area Leader and Joyce Avedisian-Riedinger, FCCI New Jersey Area Leader.

A special student track for high school and college students age 16-up will be facilitated by Angelo Paul Ramunni, CPA and Professor of Finance at the University of Connecticut from Canaan, CT. The track will include three sessions: The High School and College Experience: How to find the Good Path that leads to Good Results; How to Find a Good Job/Career and a Good Life; and Students & Entrepreneurs, How to Find and Fit into a Good Business Succession Plan.

Displays showcasing various Christian businesses will be set up in the St. Thomas Seminary hallway. Opening and closing praise and worship music will be provided by Walter Santos from Los Angeles, CA. Santos will also close the conference with a unique and uplifting Gospel Doo-Wop concert.
