Suitable for currents up to 75 amperes: High-temperature environment MOSFETs in 8-pin HSON package
(PresseBox) - MSC expands its product portfolio with seven new Nchannel and P channel power MOSFETs in spacesaving 8pin HSON packages.
The new power MOSFETs from Renesas Electronics for breakdown voltages, depending on the type, of 40, 60 or -30 V can switch currents up to 75 A, are specified up to 175°C channel temperature and are qualified to AEC-Q101. Furthermore, the devices feature a low channeltocase thermal resistance - e.g. 1.09°C/W with the NP75N04YUG power MOSFET - and a low onresistance of maximum 4.8 m?.
Approximately only half the size of comparable performance power MOSFETs in conventional TO-252 package, the new members of the NP series are suitable for use in hightemperature environments such as for the control of direct injection in the engine compartment of a vehicle, control of electrical motor pumps, for controlling solenoid valves or as protection against reversebattery connections.
Samples of the new power MOSFETs are available now from MSC.
