ACGM Appoints Heather L. Barlow as Managing Director, Investment Banking & Advisory
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 04/22/13 -- ACGM, INC. ("ACGM") today announced the appointment of Heather L. Barlow as Managing Director in the Firm's Investment Banking & Advisory Group.
Ms. Barlow's appointment marks the continued expansion of ACGM's Investment Banking & Advisory business. Capitalizing on her extensive restructuring experience and recognized acumen among the distressed investor community, she will play a key role at ACGM both sourcing and distributing investment opportunities in special situations. Ms. Barlow will work closely with ACGM's European team to ensure ACGM remains at the cutting edge of the burgeoning market for European distressed assets.
Ms. Barlow brings to the Firm more than twenty years of in-depth restructuring experience offering financial advisory services to debtor, creditor, equity and third party constituencies in out-of-court, stressed and in-court restructuring cases. Her professional experience also includes operational restructuring and distressed investing.
Prior to joining ACGM, Ms. Barlow was a Managing Director at HMC-NY (Harbert Management Corporation). In 2005, Ms. Barlow founded Value Extraction Services LLC where she performed operational turnaround, Liquidating Trustee and Director roles on behalf of creditors and shareholders. Prior to that, she was an Executive Director in the Restructuring Advisory Group at CIBC World Markets Corp., a Senior Associate at Chanin Capital Partners and a financial analyst in the Recovery and Restructuring group at Chase Manhattan Bank.

Ms. Barlow earned both her BA and MPA from New York University and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
