In Nyíregyháza, Hungary, ContiTech has opened a new plant for rubber compounds. The Air Spring Systems business unit will also benefit from the compounds produced in-house. "Thanks to the ContiTech Compounding Technology business unit's new compounding center, we have gained greater planning and process reliability for the commercial vehicle replacement parts market. This will benefit our international customers," says Dirk Hoffmeister, segment head of ContiTech Air Spring Systems.
