Brilliant image quality and lowest power consumption set eyevis? LPD clearly apart

(PresseBox) - eyevis GmbH today announced the launch of its new display series based on the groundbreaking Laser Phosphor Technology (LPD). LPD is a new category of large format displays with the lowest power consumption and environmental impact along with long-lasting performance and brilliant picture quality.
"We are excited to bring our LPD products to market," says Hans-Günter Nusseck, Product Manager of eyevis GmbH. "LPD defines a whole new category in display technology and will open up new markets."
LPDs use solid state lasers to excite phosphors on a surface emissive panel. This technology consumes up to 75 percent less power than other display technologies translating into the lowest cost of ownership of any large format display.
At a brightness of 800nits, an optical seam of 0.25mm and a refresh rate of 240Hz audiences and consumer will be captivated by the high-resolution images, no motion blur and incredible picture quality.
For the first time, eyevis' LPDs will be presented at the Innotrans 2010 Show in Berlin, Germany from the 21st-24th September. Visit us and convince yourself of this new display generation (Hall 2.1, Booth 136).
