Rob Jan Renders appointed as new CEO of the Duropack Group
- Over 30 years experience in the paper and packaging industry
- Current CEO Peter Szivacsek is leaving the company at his own request
Vienna, 25 April 2013 - Yesterday, at the Supervisory Board meeting of the
Duropack Group, Rob Jan Renders was appointed as the new CEO. Mr Peter
Szivacsek is leaving the company after 15 successful years as CEO, at his
own request, to focus on new career challenges.
Rob Jan Renders was co-opted to the Supervisory Board in April 2012 to
become acquainted with the company and ensure a smooth transition.
Previously he spent many very successful years in various management roles
within the paper and packaging industry.
'I would like to thank Peter Szivacsek for his outstanding contribution and
his successful development of the Duropack Group over all these years. At
the same time, I am delighted that we have gained, in Rob Jan Renders, a
successor with industry experience and excellent knowledge of our company,'
said Hanno Bästlein, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Duropack
Group. 'Under his leadership we will continue to push ahead with the
Duropack Group's sustainable expansion strategy.'
