Munich, 26 April 2013 - The Experton Group has presented awards for
Germany's leading cloud providers at the Cloud Vendor Benchmarks 2013.
At the exclusive evening event on the 25th of April at Schlosshotel
Kronberg Cloud Leader Awards were handed to companies, which have an
excellent Cloud-portfolio and an above-average competitive strength within
the German market.
In the framework of the 'Cloud Vendor Benchmark 2013' this award is a
result of an independent examination of providers carried out by the
Experton Group already for 4 years in a row. Assessment criteria included
among other things strategy, portfolio of products and services,
technologies&ecosystem, innovative strength, service-quality&SLA,
pricing&terms of use and financial stability.
Due to comprehensive expertise and solutions CANCOM is positioned among the
leaders in providing Managed Private Cloud, Cloud Transformation and Cloud
Services for medium seized companies.

According to research carried out by the Experton Group the trend towards
Cloud Computing will carry on in the future. According to Experton more
than 4,7 billion Euro will be spend in Germany in the year 2013 on Cloud
Services, technologies and integration and consulting. Overall this sum
makes up about 5,3 % of the total IT-expenditure. With circa 2,1 billion
Euro Private Cloud is definitely the most important market segment for many
providers. The demand for Cloud-Services as well as consulting and
integration services will also increase in the following years.
According to Dr. Carlo Velten, Senior Advisor of Experton Group AG, CANCOM
next to other suppliers, has proved on the one hand that Managed Private
Cloud-Services can indeed be very attractive for mid-sized companies and on
the other hand that this market segment conceals a broad range of

Enterprise Workplace solution. Therefore CANCOM has produced evidence, that
system houses are able to successfully master the change into the age of
