NAV and share price development
* NAV per share on 30 April 2013 amounted to EUR 9.11 (SEK 78)
* NAV per share (EUR) decreased by 1.7% (increased by 0.3% in SEK) compared to
31 March 2013
* The value of cash, cash equivalents and other short term investments per
share amounted to EUR 0.59 (SEK 5), corresponding to an aggregate of EUR
19m (SEK 160m)
* The closing price per share on 30 April 2013 was SEK 46.90 (EUR 5.50)
corresponding to a decrease of 9.6% compared to 31 March 2013
* The number of shares outstanding in East Capital Explorer on 30 April 2013
was 31,424,309. The Company did not hold any own shares
* EUR 1 = SEK 8.55 on 30 April 2013
Events during the month
· During April, East Capital Explorer received two distributions, a EUR 9.4m
distribution from the East Capital Power Utilities Fund, which represented the
main part of the remaining assets in the Fund, and a distribution of EUR 3.1m
from the East Capital Special Opportunities Fund
· On 24 April, the AGM of East Capital Explorer approved to allocate this
year's result in accordance with the Board of Directors' proposal, meaning that
no dividend will be made to the shareholders this year and that the profits will
be carried forward. The AGM also authorized the Board of Directors to decide on
repurchase of own shares. However, the Board of Directors has expressed its
intention not to repurchase own shares during the ongoing redemption programs
which run through 2015
· As announced on 3 May, East Capital Explorer has decided to acquire a
majority stake in Starman, the leading cable TV, broadband internet and voice
cable services provider in Estonia through a direct investment of approx. EUR
24m. The deal is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to be completed
during the second quarter
