WITTENSTEIN at SPS/IPC/Drives 2010
(PresseBox) - Torsionally rigid and germ-free - two highly resistant specialists Dual product premiere for WITTENSTEIN motion control GmbH: new TPM+ high torque® and axenia-CPM servo actuators
WITTENSTEIN AG - Hall 4, Stand 251
WITTENSTEIN AG, a traditional exhibitor at SPS/IPC/Drives, will be returning to Nuremberg to participate in this year's fair from November 23 to 25. South-West Germany's specialist for intelligent servo actuator technology will be represented at the forthcoming event by four of the WITTENSTEIN Group's seven Business Units in Hall 4, Stand 251:
- WITTENSTEIN motion control GmbH
- WITTENSTEIN electronics GmbH
- WITTENSTEIN cyber motor GmbH
- WITTENSTEIN alpha GmbH
Two new servo actuators from WITTENSTEIN motion control - TPM+ high torque® and axenia-CPM - will form the focus of WITTENSTEIN AG's joint stand.
I. New TPM+ high torque® servo actuator rounds off the product family
Four years after the initial launch, the TPM+ family has now been rounded off by the new TPM+ high torque®. In future, WITTENSTEIN motion control's comprehensive portfolio of servo actuators will include a fitting solution for the complete spectrum of industrial applications. Since making its original appearance in the market, this actuator family has earned a reputation for maximum dynamics (TPM+ dynamic), maximum power density (TPM+ power) and maximum endurance (TPM+ endurance). The distinguishing feature of the new TPM+ high torque® is its very high torsional rigidity. With reduction ratios up to i = 220, it significantly broadens the application scope, so that the new actuator is the ideal choice for challenging tasks in the machine tool sector.
The genetic imprint of the TPM+ family is unmistakeable in the powerful TPM+ high torque®: a compact design, attractively packaged with flowing forms for easy cleaning.
II. No sharp angles or edges: new, stainless steel axenia-CPM actuator
Acknowledged as a world class partner by customers for whom hygiene is a top priority, WITTENSTEIN motion control will unveil its new series of stainless steel axenia actuators at SPS/IPC/Drives 2010. This unusual name is derived from the adjective "axenic" meaning germ-free. axenia-CPM is particularly targeted at the pharmaceuticals packaging and food processing industries, for example, having been developed in accordance with strict hygienic guidelines - with no sharp edges, beads or exterior screw heads. In addition to very high protection, the carefully selected stainless steel and sealing materials assure perfect resistance to aggressive cleaning agents and disinfectants. The Igersheim mechatronics specialist has set a new benchmark in industrial design and hygienic suitability, because so far there are no comparable products on the market.
