BCAMA Announces the 2013-14 Board Executives
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/08/13 -- The BC Chapter of the American Marketing Association (BCAMA) announces the 2013-14 Board of Directors executives. The BCAMA, founded in 1955, has been lead by a group of volunteer BC-based marketing professionals who balance their volunteer positions with challenging careers and personal lives. They are dedicated to providing exciting programs and new initiatives that our BCAMA members and supporters value.
2013-14 BCAMA Board of Directors Executives:
Sarah Clayton - President
Sarah spends her time creating designer marketing strategies as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Regent College, where she actively works with an in-house marketing team to forge new innovative marketing paths in a competitive higher education industry. Connected to the Vancouver marketing community, Sarah served as President-Elect on the BCAMA Board for the past two years and is excited to take on her new role as President.
Darrell Hadden - Immediate Past President
Darrell started Graphically Speaking over 25 years ago. As President, he has seen the company evolve from being the largest presentation graphics company in the Pacific Northwest to the second largest web developer in Greater Vancouver, with a web development team of over 45 web specialists, artists, technicians, programmers, copywriters, marketing experts and experienced project managers.
Kerry J. Plowman - President Elect
Kerry has 10+ years of marketing experience, focusing on lead generation and results-driven marketing strategies. He founded WestCoast Internet Marketing to help small and medium sized businesses expand their reach into target audiences using inbound and outbound marketing techniques. Kerry specializes in start-ups and product launches and has become the virtual marketing arm helping firms to define and execute their marketing plans.
Meghan Carter - Vice President Elect
Meghan is the Director of Marketing at Maynards, an international auction house with a diverse global portfolio. Meghan has maintained a strong career focus on brand management, business development, marketing strategy and integrated communications. She won an American national award for crisis communication strategy and has been invited to present on business development strategy at international conferences.
Steve Kim - Immediate Past President (on leave)
Steve is taking a leave of absence from the BCAMA to pursue political aspirations as the BC Liberal candidate for Coquitlam-Maillardville. Having grown up in the area Steve is passionate and excited about this new endeavour and feels that it is important to "promote the economic vitality and sustainability of this community for many years to come". Steve's focus has always been on developing small businesses through his company, Boiling Point Communications and building community and fostering leadership through volunteerism, with C3 Korean Canadian Society and the BCAMA.
