(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/09/13 -- Torstar Corporation (TSX: TS.B) announces the results of the vote on the election of directors at its annual meeting of the holders of Class A shares held on May 8, 2013.
Each of the nominees proposed for election as listed in the Corporation's information circular dated March 5, 2013 was elected as a director by a majority of votes cast by a show of hands, without a ballot being conducted. The Corporation received proxies regarding the election of directors as follows:
