A satisfied conclusion to the 2010 trade fair
Grafotec Spray Systems GmbH delivers a positive summary following the glasstec 2010 in Düsseldorf
(firmenpresse) - Following initial scepticism – justified by the economic crisis – as to whether this year’s leading trade fair of the glass sector would bring the desired success, the manufacturer of separating agent application systems is highly satisfied with the response.
“The glasstec was highly successful for us. Particularly the specialist clientele from Asia and North and South America showed keen interest in our products”, according to the Managing Director, Reinhold Senft. Major attention was devoted this year to the AGA 1000 separating agent system, which was developed for application of liquid separating agents during gravitational bending. “We had numerous requests for further application possibilities or adaptations of the AGA 1000“,Reinhold Senft continues.
For Grafotec, these enquiries are the incentive needed for the coming months. Although the equipment from the Bavarian manufacturer is developed for the specific requirements of the glass industry, their modular construction renders them flexible however for customer wishes and further application possibilities. Grafotec provided direct evidence of this flexibility at its exhibition stand. An AP 960 was therefore converted into a customised design during the exhibition days. In so doing, the nozzle bar, mechanical cabinet and control system were precisely tailored to customer wishes and the result was presented to the customer during the trade fair.
Reinhold Senft draws a personal conclusion. “With the glasstec, a successful trade fair year that started sluggishly owing to the economic crisis is coming to a close. Nevertheless, the positive response to our products provides confirmation of their quality. This is why we have a positive outlook towards the future”.
