New customer ViewSat selects Net Insight for fibre network in the UK

ViewSat, a global provider of broadcast and transmission services for television
and radio channels, have selected the Nimbra platform to offer additional
services to its clients.

ViewSat has selected Net Insight's Nimbra platform as the solution to allow more
efficient integration with fibre based video cabling within many carrier hotel
locations.
Veiwsat will be using its Video Access Modules and SFP Video Access Modules to
run services between their uplink locations and a telehouse in London over a Gbe
IP Link. In addition ViewSat will be utilizing Net Insight's 1+1 Hitless Video
Protection and 1+1 Hitless Ethernet Protection. By wrapping in the 1+1 Hitless
Protection and Ethernet Service carriage the Nimbra solution allows ViewSat to
reduce the number of elements in the transmission chain. Net Insight's end-to-
end Performance Monitoring also allows ViewSat to provide end-to-end visibility
to its clients of the services being carried.
