North Atlantic Appoints J. Gianni Kovacevic to the Board of Directors
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Oct. 20, 2010) - North Atlantic Resources Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: NAC) is pleased to report that Mr. J. Gianni Kovacevic has been appointed as Director of the Company.
Scott Waldie, President and CEO of the Company, stated, "On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Company, I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kovacevic to the Board of Directors of North Atlantic Resources Ltd. Mr. Kovacevic is also Chairman and a Director of Romulus Resources, a TSX venture listed company. We look forward to Mr. Kovacevic's guidance to help direct the Company as it focuses on its core gold exploration projects in Mali. Mr. Kovacevic is a natural resource strategist and independent resource company investor. Mr. Kovacevic brings a wealth of international resource-based investing experience and exploration financing to the Board of Directors."
Mr. Kovacevic said, "I look forward to adding my unique skill set to help guide the future strategies on North Atlantic's various mineral concessions in Mali."
North Atlantic has also granted incentive stock options to buy 250,000 shares of North Atlantic at a price of CAD $0.55 per share. The options shall have a five year term expiring on October 19, 2015.
The Company's common shares are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, under the symbol NAC. North Atlantic has 55,374,360 common shares issued and outstanding (82,640,111 shares on a fully diluted basis).
