Multimillion Euro contract signed for manufacture and delivery of new rig to Belorusneft
Appointment of Dirk Schulze as new CEO to maximise growth
(firmenpresse) - Bentec GmbH, the leading manufacturer of high quality drilling rig systems and drilling rig components, part of the KCA DEUTAG Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dirk Schulze as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Schulze has provided strategic management consultancy and has significant and longstanding experience in the international mining and mining equipment business, including nine years in senior positions in both Australia and Africa.
Bentec also announced it has signed a multimillion Euro contract with Esta Group AG for the manufacture and delivery of a new stationary Bentec 450 ton rig. The rig, which is for ultimate customer Belorusneft (the Republican Unitary Enterprise Production Association of Belarus), is required for the drilling of deep wells in the Republic of Belarus.

Technical Information:
The stationary Bentec rig has a load capacity of 450 ton (2000 hp) and is designed for climate conditions down to a temperature of -40 C. Its expected manufacture time is 10 months. The rig will include numerous Bentec equipment and accessories like mud pumps, drawworks, travelling system, steel constructions, mud system, Power Control Room and the new, more reliable and service-friendly Bentec Top Drive.
