Kariana Resources Inc. Appoints New CEO and Director

(CNSX: KAA) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that its board of directors have appointed Nicholas Miller as the Company's new Chief Executive Officer and as a director effective May 22, 2013. Joel Dumaresq has resigned his position as Chief Executive Officer and director of the Company. Bastian Stein has resigned his position as director of the Company. The Company expresses its appreciation to Mr. Dumaresq and Mr. Stein and thanks them for their invaluable contributions over their tenure. The board of directors of the Company currently consists of Nicholas Miller, Lawrence Dick, Herrick Lau, Christian Klingebiel and David Velisek.
Nicholas Miller, Director
Nicholas Miller is an innovative career entrepreneur who has founded a number of successful private and publicly traded companies in the software, wireless, and Internet sectors. His wide-ranging experience as a high technology executive includes over 30 years of direct management responsibility, along with extensive experience in corporate finance, management, sales, marketing and technology start-ups. Nicholas founded and served as President and CEO of AirPatrol Corporation, a leading company in the wireless security sector that provides solutions to the Enterprise, Intelligence and Defense sectors. He is a recognized expert on wireless security and was one of the first to identify the security threats posed by wireless technology, coining the phrase "WiPhishing". Prior to this, Nicholas founded and served as President and CEO of DataLink Systems Corporation, a San Jose based publicly traded company in the wireless information services sector. He also served as a Director of Ezenet Technologies (acquired by Cognicase) and Workfire Technologies (acquired by Packeteer Inc.). He is the holder of three US patents related to wireless and wireless security technology.
