Global Dairy Co-Op Selects Widen DAM for Its Cloud-Based Service, Strong Reputation, Affordability, and Distinct Advantages for International Collaboration

With at least 30 asset administrators in Denmark and countless advertising and marketing affiliates in markets from Buenos Aires to Beijing, Arla needed what Hansen calls a "true cloud" solution.

Specifically, Arla wanted a web-based DAM solution that could enable multiple contributors, give ad agencies read and download permission, support scalable hosting, and carry out bulk uploads. Moreover, Arla's DAM software needed to support multiple video, audio, and image formats, PowerPoint presentations, and desktop publishing tools like Adobe Creative Suite.

Widen digital asset management met Arla's core needs. "We also found a lot of positive reviews in the blogosphere," said Hansen. "We gave that some credit, but it was more a matter of the support we felt from Widen's team. We also saw Widen's use of Amazon cloud services as a stamp of quality."
