Professional job seekers can now find out exactly what they're worth with
the Salary Checker app, launched this week by recruitment consultancy
Robert Walters.
The free app, available for all tablets and smart phones (both Apple&Android devices), has stormed the UK business app charts - hitting number
two in the Google Play Store and four in iTunes store on Wednesday.
Designed for professional job seekers, it draws on data from the firm's
market-leading Salary Survey and allows users to:
- Determine their own market rate
- See how this compares with other sectors and cities/countries and
globally
- View salary trends over time
The app is an upgrade to the first version - launched in 2011 for iPhone
and iPad which received more than 200,000 downloads - and covers thousands
of job types globally. The new version features easy-to-follow bar charts
and graphs, with users able to configure the data to their local currency.
About the App
The app is designed for professional job seekers, allowing them to check
their market rate in more than 20 countries. So an accountant, HR, legal,
IT, engineering, supply chain, secretarial or marketing specialist will
find annual salaries and contract pay rates.
Based on the Robert Walters Global Salary Survey - produced for over a
decade - the rates are a credible source of salary data.
