HousingWire Releases Inaugural List of Top 50 Real Estate Technology Firms
The HW REtech:50 Recognizes the 50 Tech Solutions Most Likely to Impact the Real Estate Industry in the Next 12 Months

Called the HW REtech:50, the annual list of tech leaders highlights a select group of firms that are set to revolutionize the real estate transaction from every angle.
"As the nation's real estate markets begin to return to normal, we are seeing a surge of interest within the social and tech communities, as they look to innovate in the real estate space," said Paul Jackson, founder and CEO at HousingWire. HousingWire editors and writers chose the final 50 firms for the 2013 class of honorees after reviewing more than 200 submissions received in an open-nomination period. Firms were selected with an eye towards their forward & potential impact on the real estate business in the near-term.
"Impact is a strong word, and it means so many different things when put into context," said Jacob Gaffney, Executive Editor at HousingWire. "We sought to place each firm into context, which means some newer firms ended up making the grade this year. I think that's very unique."
The inaugural list of 50 tech firms will be profiled in the June issue of HousingWire Magazine, which also features a unique 3-D design and will be distributed with an associated pair of 3-D glasses. The HW REtech:50 list will also be available online at starting today, profiling each of the firms that made this year's cut.
