OGA Completes Alabama and South Carolina Outpatient Dialysis Centers
DaVita Dialysis to Operate Both Facilities Located in Anniston, Alabama, and Gaston, South Carolina
(firmenpresse) - NASHVILLE, TN -- (Marketwired) -- 06/03/13 -- , a national full service real estate services and development company, has announced the completion of two outpatient dialysis facilities in Anniston, Alabama, and Gaston, South Carolina. The 5,700-square-foot Anniston facility and the 5,930-square-foot Gaston center will both be occupied by Denver-based .
"Demand for outpatient health care facilities continues to grow nationally, and kidney care is certainly no exception," said Bond Oman, OGA's chief executive officer. "We're pleased to be able to expand our portfolio into these markets in Alabama and South Carolina and help meet the needs of both dialysis providers and dialysis patients there."
The Anniston facility is a 10-station dialysis clinic. handled the site selection, development and financing of the clinic and will lease the building to . Anniston-based Eugene Turner Construction served as the contractor for the building. The facility, located at 1612 Noble Street in Anniston, is scheduled to open this summer.
The 5,930 square-foot Gaston dialysis center also features 10 stations, and was developed and in the same fashion as the one in Anniston with a long term tenant lease. The building was constructed by Termac Construction out of Mobile, Alabama. The facility is located at 5224 Highway 321 in Gaston and is slated to be patient-ready in the coming weeks.
Outpatient care is an increasingly popular option for dialysis patients who prefer being treated by trained kidney care specialists at convenient locations. The Anniston and Gaston projects are just two of 16 dialysis projects has recently undertaken, and part of more than 150 similar kidney care projects it has completed for various dialysis providers in 35 states.
