(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/04/13 -- On Wednesday, June 5, BMO employees in Calgary will help clean up the Wood's Homes' grounds by planting shrubs and painting to revitalize the grounds for their upcoming celebration of 100 years of service to children and their families.

The event will be part of the second North America-wide BMO Volunteer Day, with 5,600 employees across Canada and the U.S. rolling up their sleeves to give back.

"Wood's Homes is a remarkable organization that has been providing important services for local children and their families for many years," said Robert Hayes, Senior Vice-President, Prairies, BMO Financial Group. "Many people have been touched by the work they do and we're proud to lend a helping hand."

For the past three years Mr. Hayes has been proud to serve as a member of the Wood's Home Foundation Board. Both he and BMO have worked to assist Wood's Homes in a number of capacities, including playing a role in helping the foundation with their current $12 million Capital Campaign.
