Prize Mining Corp.: Annual General and Special Shareholders' Meeting Extension
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/04/13 -- Prize Mining Corp. (TSX VENTURE: PRZ.H) (the "Corporation") announces that it has successfully received an order from the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta extending the time in which it is permitted to hold its annual general and special meeting of shareholders (the "AGM") to a date no later than August 31, 2013.
The Corporation sought the extension because it is considering various transactions, which may require shareholder approval. With a view to minimizing costs, the Corporation plans to delay holding the AGM pending the successful negotiation of a transaction. At this point in time, no transaction has been successfully negotiated.
