How to Establish an Economic Charging Infrastructure for E-Vehicles? • Concepts for Clean (Electric-) Mobility
Munich Dec. 01, 2010: Mobility concepts centered on e-vehicles are seen as a valid alternative concept for the future. This indeed is driven by e.g. the discussions about CO2 emissions, oil-peak and also by changes in mobility preferences which more and more can be observed. Up to now there are many discussions but in fact only few e-vehicles on the streets. Among other obstacles still a sufficient charging infrastructure is missing. It is like with the chicken and the egg. If there is almost no charging infrastructure available, it is difficult to push e-vehicles. But where is the incentive to provide a charging infrastructure if there are only few e-vehicles? There is a need for an intelligent solution!
(firmenpresse) - At Nov. 29, 2010 Volker Josel – owner of the Munich consultancy company vobiscon – presented at the Munich E-Monday the solution out of this dilemma. In his brief speech “How to Establish an Economic Charging Infrastructure for E-Vehicles” he stressed that no charging infrastructure can be amortized by just selling electricity. In particular this applies for expensive charging stations going together with complex back-end systems. It only works out if not only electricity is sold but new potentials are used in addition.
All potential providers he recommended to only build up a charging infrastructure which perfectly supports their regional electric mobility concepts or their business models. vobiscon offers – as Volker Josel put it – concepts for clean (electric-) mobility Together with the supplier of charging systems ParkPod GmbH they provide hardware, software and project support.
There are possibilities to run charging infrastructure in a profitable way: shops, malls, restaurants and hotels can use it to enhance customer relationships. Municipalities and tourist authorities find an ideal tool to realize their targets in electric mobility. Companies (but not only companies) can profit e.g. from the German EEG low by creating “own consumption. This can be achieved by charging internal electric mobiles, vehicles to be rented or cars of employees.
Users and providers can profit from intelligent concepts and charging systems.
