TSC Partner Conference in Majorca
Substantial growth spurt over the previous year
TSC Auto ID Technology Co., Ltd. is expecting one of its most successful business years for 2010. The manufacturer of thermal label printers based in Taiwan in particular recorded a substantial growth spurt in the third quarter 2010 over the same period in the previous year. At the partner conference for EMEA, Michael Sloup, managing director of the European branch of TSC, outlined the development and presented an outlook on 2011.
(firmenpresse) - 2010 is set to be a year of success for TSC Auto ID Technology Co., Ltd. "We already surpassed our total sales of 2009 by the end of October," reported Michael Sloup, managing director of TSC Auto ID Technology EMEA GmbH, at the partner conference in Port d'Andratx (Majorca). The company was particularly able to increase its sales in the third quarter of 2010 by around 50% over the same period in the previous year and will provisionally achieve a market share of around 2.8% this year.
The main driver for this strong growth in the opinion of the conference participants is the high quality of the solutions offered by TSC. "We have been listed on the Taiwan stock exchange for eighteen months. This has given us financial resources which have flown into further developing our quality standards and into new products," Sloup explained.
TSC will be substantially expanding its marketing communications next year. "We will intensify our PR work, increase our advertising budget and exhibit at more fairs," Sloup announced. TSC wants to further improve the support for its partners through additional investments in technology.
Product road map presented
Around 20 Value Added Resellers (VARs), distributors and retailers of TSC Auto ID Technology EMEA GmbH attended the partner conference at the end of October. European Sales Manager Henning Mahlstedt presented the product road map for 2011 and outlined some current trends: "Printers are becoming more and more powerful and are increasingly being integrated into the IT infrastructure of businesses. The demand for connectivity solutions is therefore growing," Mahlstedt stated. TSC has already integrated an Ethernet interface into many models as a standard feature.
In the coming year, TSC will increasingly offer Auto ID solutions for the health industry. The TSC partner Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC) gave some background on the market for patient wristbands and showed how TSC wristbands are already being used in the health sector today in conjunction with the especially developed TSC printer TDP-225W.
Indirect sales concept
The European branch of TSC markets its solutions exclusively through the channel. TSC assists its partners and their resellers with technical support, project back-up and technical seminars. "We only include recognised solution partners in our network who integrate our thermal label printers into high-value industry solutions," European Sales Manager Mahlstedt reports. "Our Value Added Resellers provide business clients with a real market value, offer on-site service and have good technical training." This is why TSC is expanding its network in a very controlled manner.
