(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/05/13 -- Attention Business Editors:

Pizza Pizza Royalty Corp. (TSX: PZA) (the "Company") today announced the voting results on the election of directors at its Annual Meeting of Shareholders on May 29, 2013.

At the meeting there were shareholders represented in person or by proxy holding 10,092,579 common shares of the Company representing 46.26% of the issued and outstanding shares with voting rights.

Shareholders voted in favor of all items of business.

The Company's proxy circular provided for five nominees to the Board of Directors. All nominees were elected by a majority vote of shareholders on a show of hands.
