MKZ primer and MKZ EM-activator
MKZ primer and MKZ EM-activator(firmenpresse) - bredent has developed the MKZ primer to achieve a totally cohesive chemical bonding of the veneering plastics/composite metal and ceramics materials. The MKZ primer has already become a proven reference standard in connection with non-noble metals, Titanium alloys and oxide ceramics such as Zirconium dioxide.
Besides CrCoMo alloys, reduced gold and gold-free noble metal alloys such as silver-palladium are being used increasingly in the production of frameworks and superstructures. Many metal primers and conventional silanizing are unable to achieve optimum bonding strength on these alloys, as would be necessary in full veneering in the lateral teeth area or in implant bridges.
Bonding strengths of more than 25 MPa can be achieved for noble metal alloys too using the MKZ EM-activator of bredent, which is mixed with MKZ primer before use. This holds true especially for galvanic-gold and palladium-silver alloys. (see research report of the Jena University Clinic).
The separate presentation in a plastic drip bottle with yellow seal ensures 100% effect of the primer over the entire life span of the product. The MKZ EM-activator
is mixed with the MKZ primer only if the noble metal alloys are conditioned. The effect on ceramics, zircon and NEM or titanium is not affected or reduced.
