Helmut Kühlein joins the LHKX top management team as Chief Market Analyst and Editor of the Daily Market Newsletter
London: 6th December 2010, London Hong Kong Exchange Plc (“LHKX PLC) is pleased to announce that Helmut Kühlein is joining the LHKX management team as Chief Market Analyst. Mr Kühlein will also be the Editor for the LHKX Daily Market Newsletter and support LHKX PLC’s German market investor relations activities. Mr Helmut Kühlein brings long experience in the German market brokerage sector and will support the development the LKHX platform for the German speaking markets. Furthermore, Mr Kühlein has built up substantial know-how and family office type networks and will support the development of LHKX PLC’s partnership agreements to develop alternative asset class products and services through the LHKX platform.
Mr Kühlein graduated from Frankfurt/Main with a Master of Business Administration and has more than 25 years experience in the banking sector in both private banking and investment banking and also as a registered stockbroker on the Frankfurt Exchange. From 1990 to 1993 Mr Kühlein was head of the stock trading department at Credit Suisse Frankfurt and from 1994 -2002 he was head of sales and trading at ABN Amro Bank Deutschland AG. From 2003 to 2007 he was responsible for building up a sales & trading desk at Salfort AG, Basel, a family owned private asset manager. During three years he helped to set up the sales & trading department and structured the sales trading for several smaller trustees in Liechtenstein. Since, January 2009 Mr. Kühlein is active with CAT Asset management in Schaan, where he is responsible for the sales department and stock placements. His area of responsibility covers consultation with clients (institutional and private) with regard to foreign shares, bonds and derivatives. Mr Kühlein brings a wide network of contacts and know -how to the benefit of the LHKX PLC Group.
