Open Grid Europe launches new booking system
ENTRIX+ provides easier and faster access to the company's transmission capacities
(PresseBox) - Open Grid Europe, formerly E.ON Gastransport, has launched a new online system for booking capacities and allocating booked capacities to balancing groups.
With its new ENTRIX+ system, Open Grid Europe provides an industry-leading standard for network access. The new web-based system contains all customer-relevant network access information, thus offering an easy, swift and secure service.
ENTRIX+ allows customers to book entry and exit capacities regardless of the transmission route for different quantities and times.
The booking of capacities can now be combined with their allocation to a balancing group in one single step. Individual checks at network interconnections, exit points and storage points are automatic via the webbased platform, which ensures non-discriminatory treatment of requests at all times.
"This new system offers our customers much more service for the same fees," said Jörg Bergmann, the company's CFO.
Some 450 shippers and network operators are currently using ENTRIX+ to book their capacities. The booking system can be accessed at www.opengrid- europe.com > Services.
