Pomeroy and Stration have worked together since 1994 when they, along with Alan Funk, formed what was to become , a successful network of best-in-class care communities and skilled nursing facilities in Michigan. Among the communities in the Pomeroy Health portfolio are Boulevard Health Center and Bradford Medical Resort in Rochester Hills, MI and the Grand Traverse Medical Hotel and Cherrywood Nursing and Living Center in Sterling Heights, MI.
"Our experiences over the past few years led us to want to do more in the realm of adult living and care," said Pomeroy. Pomeroy Living has been designed to recognize the uniqueness of each individual and to provide a broad array of services that will inform, educate and inspire a new culture of aging. , who joined Pomeroy Health in 2006, will serve as Executive Vice President of Pomeroy Living overseeing Strategy and Post-Acute Services. joins the team as Executive Vice President of Operations and Marketing. Lea brings over 35 years' experience in the senior care industry. She was recently instrumental in designing a new generation of free-standing assisted living communities for memory care in collaboration with Dr. John Evans of the Mayo Clinic.
