(PresseBox) - Xplanation's Véronique Özkaya will be speaking at Localization World 2013 in London
Véronique Özkaya, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Xplanation and Jon Heuvel, Partner at Penningtons, a UK top law firm, will be speaking about translation for the legal industry at this summer's Localization World London conference. The conference takes place June 12-14 at the Novotel London West hotel. The presentation entitled "The Legal Industry: When Language Becomes an Absolute Necessity" will take place on the first day of the conference, 13 June 2013 at 4.30 pm.
Véronique Özkaya is responsible for developing and executing Xplanation's global sales, marketing and account management strategies. She manages global business and account development teams located in Europe, the United States and Asia. Jon Heuvel is a partner and joint head of employment at Penningtons, a member of Multilaw and the European Law Group. He specializes in all aspects of employment law across a range of industries and sectors, and focuses on international cross border issues for multinational clients.
Localization World brings together delegates who are engaged in the business of adapting products, services and communications to an international language or culture so as to appear native to that particular region. Speakers at the conference include representatives from Adobe Systems Inc., Autodesk Inc., Caterpillar, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Zynga and many others including well-known analyst groups.
David Smith, Economics Editor of The Sunday Times, will deliver the keynote address. David is also an assistant editor, policy adviser and chief leader writer. He has won numerous awards, including the Harold Wincott award for Senior Financial Journalist of the Year and is a regular contributor to the CBI's Business Voice.
