Salazar Appoints Juan C. Ortiz to the Board
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/13/13 -- Salazar Resources Limited (TSX VENTURE: SRL)(FRANKFURT: CCG) (the "Company" or "Salazar") announces that Juan C. Ortiz has been appointed as a director of Salazar effective immediately.
Mr. Ortiz is the corporate project manager of the mining division of Trafigura Group. He is responsible for prefeasibility studies for in-house projects at current mines, due diligence and prefeasibility studies for external projects, and tracking of continuing projects in the mining group. A native of Peru, Mr. Ortiz has a BSc from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, in mining engineering, and an MEng from Pennsylvania State University, in mineral engineering management.
Mr. Salazar states, "We are pleased to have Mr. Ortiz join the Salazar board. We are confident that his experience in mining evaluation and development will be a key factor in the development of El Domo."
