Jefferson Lines Ends Bus Service to Park Rapids on July 10
(firmenpresse) - MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- (Marketwired) -- 06/18/13 -- "After providing bus service to Park Rapids for the past two years, this was a difficult decision for the company," said Kevin Pursey, Director of Marketing and Culture. "We were simply unable to build up ridership."
"We have had good support from community leaders, the media and agents, but the ridership we need just isn't there," said Pursey. "We recognize that there is a need for service in these Park Rapids, but we think the need is better met by a van type of service that brings passengers to our route in Walker or Detroit Lakes."
Jefferson Lines will continue to provide bus service to many communities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Montana, Wyoming and Texas.
