Caspian Announces New Date and Location for Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders

(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/24/13 -- Caspian Energy Inc. ("Caspian") (TSX: CEK) is changing the date and location of its scheduled Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting"). The Meeting was originally scheduled to be held on June 21, 2013 in downtown Calgary. Due to the state of emergency declared within the City of Calgary in response to flooding, road closures and building evacuations, the Meeting was rescheduled to June 25, 2013. However, as a result of restricted access to buildings within Calgary's downtown area, the Meeting is being further rescheduled to Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. (Calgary time) at a new location, namely, Suite 3200, Altius Centre, Suite 3200, 500 - 4th Avenue SW Calgary, Alberta. The new proxy deadline is 10 am on Thursday, June 27, 2013.
