Big Rock Eddies Update
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/24/13 -- In light of the recent flood, and our commitment to the safety of the residents of Calgary, we regret to inform you that the Big Rock Eddies is postponed until a date to be determined in the fall. After our careful assessment of the impact on the community we feel it's necessary to respect city officials request to stay off the roads in the downtown core.
Big Rock (TSX: BR) will be refocusing our efforts in the greater community, putting resources towards dropping off rubber boots, gloves, bug spray and sunscreen to volunteers. In addition, we will be hosting a Craft Flood Fundraiser very soon and details will follow in the next 24 hours.
In terms of our policy on tickets, we ask for patience and understanding until we're able to address this in the days to come. We realize that there will be many questions to be answered from attendees, artists and sponsors so please check our Facebook page regularly for updates.
We are fortunate to be in a city with such great support and hope that you will continue to stand with us on the Eddies in the fall as we salute the spirit of Calgary and their resilience.
