At Hess GmbH Licht + Form, one of the renowned suppliers of design-oriented
outdoor luminaires, one is very satisfied about the ongoing developments.
The future concept is fully effective and the strategic advancement of the
company progresses with great strides. 'We are precisely on target', states
a happy Andreas R. Budde, Managing Director of Hess GmbH Licht + Form in
Villingen. He adds: 'Within a very short time and together with the
Management it was achieved to bring the company back on an even keel'.
Jürgen Duffner, Sales Manager for the German market, confirms that the path
taken is clearly correct: 'We have met with a decidedly positive response
on the part of the mayors and municipalities. The customers stand by Hess
and trust the design and quality of our products'.
A main part of the future concept is the concentration of the international
sales activities on core markets outside of Germany. 'This concentration
allows us to allocate our resources more precisely and to improve our
market penetration at the same time', explains Andrew Pluntke, Sales
Manager International. In doing so, a greater impact in the respective
markets will be achieved.
The Management of Hess has worked very hard in the past few weeks and
months to map out the right course for the company and to pursue it. There
was agreement from the beginning onwards and commitment among all parties
involved to position Hess sustainably and powerfully. How right the path
taken is, demonstrates the operative development. 'We are also sustainable
without an investor', so Andreas R. Budde. Therefore the investor process
can be proceeded with calmly. One is not feeling time pressure seeking an
anchor shareholder due to the good development.
Meanwhile, the company is dealing specifically and intensively with the
future. The planning for the Light+Building 2014 in Frankfurt, the world's
biggest light and building technology exhibition is in progress. Hess will
present itself at the Professional Lighting Design Convention in Copenhagen
with an own stand already at the end of October.
