BMO Branches Across Canada Accepting Donations to Red Cross For Relief Efforts in Alberta
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/26/13 -- BMO Bank of Montreal branches across Canada are accepting donations to the Canadian Red Cross to support relief efforts for those affected by the devastating flooding in Calgary and southern Alberta.
Last week, BMO announced a $100,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross to support relief efforts in the region, and a financial flood relief program to assist customers.
The relief program for BMO clients includes:
"We want to assist our customers and residents in the region living through this human drama," said Robert Hayes, BMO Senior Vice President, Alberta and NWT Division, BMO Bank of Montreal. "We hope our relief program for customers and our $100,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross will help alleviate some of the difficulties. I also want to thank the BMO team throughout Alberta, whose extraordinary efforts have been integral to re-establishing service for our customers in very difficult circumstances."
