TimoCom presents the procurement platforms at LogiMat 2011
(PresseBox) - At this year's trade fair LogiMAT 2011, TimoCom Soft- und Hardware GmbH once again brings things of interest for all companies involved in transport: amongst others, improvements have been made to the transport tendering platform TC eBid®, which has just celebrated a little anniversary party. The platform has been on the market for one year - and this with great success. New services, such as the transport barometer App, will be presented along with a concept towards sustainability.
Leading through innovation
Since nearly 14 years TimoCom has been known for customer-focused innovation. Transport providers at LogiMAT, in Stuttgart, can convince themselves of this: from 2011-02-08 to 2011-02-10 TimoCom will be presenting the innovations to TC eBid®, the platform for Europe-wide transport tenders, which was especially developed for the long-term contract business. Concurrent with the anniversary, TC eBid®'s user friendly interface has once again been improved. Tenderers can place their tenders in only three steps - across Europe. TC eBid® is, as before, the ideal complement to the the spot market platform TC Truck&Cargo® - the market leader among the European freight and vehicle exchanges. Proof of this, is that more and more well-known customers, such as the convenience wholesaler Lekkerland, use the tendering platform. In addition, TC Truck&Cargo® customers can place their bids for free.
Further to the program innovations, TimoCom will also present the transport barometer App at LogiMAT, a mobile application graphically reflecting the freight-vehicle ratio within European road transport routes. Information regarding TimoCom's commitment to responsibility, employees, the environment and society will also be available.
First test it - then use it
At stand 121 in hall 5 at LogiMAT 2011 you can try TimoCom's programs TC eBid® and TC Truck&Cargo® yourself. Therefore several PC workstations will be at your disposal on which all who are interested can test the additional functions live under the guidance of a TimoCom account manager. In addition you can lay the foundations towards a four-week, free test whilst present. During this non-obligatory test phase the respective programmes include all extras such as the transport directory TC Profile® or the calculation module TC eMap®.
A worthwhile visit
The TimoCom trade fair stand is a must for all who want to get the most out of their business potential. Shippers as well as transport and logistics service providers interested in fixed contracts and also freight forwarders and hauliers who operate in the spot market, are all warmly welcome to put TimoCom's products through its paces.
