Tethys Petroleum Limited Announces Election of Directors
(firmenpresse) - GRAND CAYMAN, CAYMAN ISLANDS -- (Marketwired) -- 06/27/13 -- Tethys Petroleum Limited (the "Company") (TSX: TPL)(LSE: TPL) announces the nominees listed in the management proxy circular for the 2013 Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting") were elected as directors of the Company. Detailed results of the votes by proxy for the election of directors held at the Meeting today in Grand Cayman are set out below.
The election of directors was conducted and approved by show of hands at the Meeting. A report of voting results for each resolution presented at the Meeting prepared in accordance with National Instrument 51-102 will be filed on .
Tethys is focused on oil and gas exploration and production activities in Central Asia with activities currently in the Republics of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. This highly prolific oil and gas area is rapidly developing and Tethys believes that significant potential exists in both exploration and in discovered deposits.
