Balda AG sets up Internet-based form for authorizing and instructing
voting representatives for the extraordinary General Meeting

- Thanks to the online tool, shareholders do not have to be personally
present at the event site in Berlin
Bad Oeynhausen, 28 June 2013 - Balda AG today set up a website for
authorizing voting representatives. This easy-to-use online tool enables
shareholders to exercise their right to vote at the extraordinary General
Meeting in Berlin on 18 July 2013 without having to travel to the event
site.
In particular, shareholders can use the online tool to authorize the
company's voting representative, Dr. Achim Biedermann, Mannheim, to vote
for them and instruct him on how to vote.
To ensure that authorizations and instructions are followed, shareholders
must have duly registered on time for the extraordinary General Meeting on
18 July 2013 based on their shareholding documented as at the start of 27
June 2013 (CEST). The last day to register is 11 July 2013.
The website with the online tool is available on Balda's website:
www.balda.de - Investors - Annual Meeting. The tool is easy to use and
available in both German and English.
The extraordinary General Meeting in Berlin was convened by the shareholder
Elector GmbH. The sole agenda item is the complete replacement of Balda's
three-person Supervisory Board with the shareholder's candidates. Bad
Oeynhausen Local Court earlier granted a corresponding application
submitted by Elector GmbH to convene the meeting.
