Energistics Announces New Chief Technology Officer
Jay Hollingsworth to Join Upstream Standards Consortium
(firmenpresse) - HOUSTON, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 07/01/13 -- Energistics, the upstream oil and gas standards consortium, announced today that Jay Hollingsworth has joined Energistics as its Chief Technology Officer.
Hollingsworth brings with him more than twenty years of varied experience in the oil and gas industry. He is a recognized authority on design and deployment of master data management solutions for technical and mapping data. Mr. Hollingsworth's expertise includes a wide range of data architecture and database engineering capabilities as well as thorough knowledge of geosciences and engineering. He most recently serves as Industry Principal for Oracle's Oil and Gas Business Unit.
Commenting on his new position, Jay Hollingsworth said, "I am honored to join the Energistics team and feel my experience in the industry will help me to serve the standards community well. Prior to Oracle, Hollingsworth held positions with Seabed, Mobil Oil, Landmark Graphics and Schlumberger.
