French subsidiary of Wagner&Co expands
(PresseBox) - Wagner & Co France SARL, a subsidiary of the german solar specialist Wagner & Co, has moved to larger premises.
Just three years after it was established, the Wagner & Co branch had outgrown the original facilities in the Burgundy town of Tournus. The company urgently required more space for the increased storage requirements, distribution center and 27 staff. The new premises nearby Simandre has a total area of 25.000m², including 900m² of offices and approximately 4.000m² of storehouse capacity.
Following the company philosophy, Wagner has focused on sustainability during the design and construction of the new buildings: at the front of the daylight flooded office section, solar collectors from the own collector lines were installed for hot water production and space heating support. The solar heating system is combined with a wood-chip boiler. The warehouse roof carries a Wagner & Co photovoltaic system. Operations at the new company location are scheduled to commence in spring of 2011.
Wagner & Co currently makes its 30 years of experience as a system supplier for solar thermal and photovoltaic products available to customers across Europe, as well as in Africa and the USA.
