Acquisition of the Swedish Lorensbergs Holding AB
(PresseBox) - CompuGroup Medical executed a purchase agreement for the acquisition of Lorensbergs Holding, including all subsidiaries. With 41 employees, Lorensbergs primarily develops software solutions for occupational healthcare, general practitioners and school healthcare in Sweden. The revenues for 2010 are estimated to be EUR 3.7 million.
With this acquisition, CompuGroup Medical solidifies its position as a market leader in the Scandinavian e-health market. With Lorensbergs, CompuGroup Medical obtains the largest customer base within occupational healthcare and further strengthens the strongest-performing product portfolio in Sweden and Norway.
The products of all Scandinavian subsidiaries will be further bolstered, based on best practices. CompuGroup Medical software solutions provide physicians with assistance in making medical decisions and help structure the treatment process. Enormous potentials to increase efficiency can be achieved with the utilization of these intelligent systems.
