Mawer Offers "One Stop" Global Investment Solution With Launch of Global Balanced Fund
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/02/13 -- Mawer Investment Management Ltd. is pleased to announce the launch of the Mawer Global Balanced Fund, effective July 2, 2013. The Fund is a convenient, one-stop investment solution for investors, with a focus on resiliency. Its objective is to provide above average risk-adjusted returns with a measure of stability by investing in Canadian bonds and in equities from around the world.
The Mawer Global Balanced Fund differs from most balanced portfolios in that risk is managed on a bottom up or "brick by brick" basis without the confines of traditional geographical constraints. Risk is further managed through extensive diversification across many industries and countries, coupled with the use of investment grade Canadian bonds.
The Fund will be managed by Greg Peterson, a Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Mawer with 22 years of investment experience. Mr. Peterson is also the manager of the multi-award winning Mawer Balanced Fund and leads the asset allocation team for the Firm.
