Future-proof onion.net? ShareConf 2013 in retrospect
(PresseBox) - The SharePoint conference took place in Düsseldorf from June 11 - 13, drawing about 300 delegates. The innovative alignment of onion.net has manifested itself once again during this meeting of specialists.
In his presentation "WCM in 2013 and beyond ? the state of things", onion.net product manager Bernd Burkert reported on current and future challenges faced by Content Management Systems: Web performance becomes a building block for a holistic brand experience. This includes the dialogue with customers, for instance via blog or commented ratings. To do so, it must be possible to provide an ever increasing number of different devices with suitable content. "Create once, publish everywhere" is the magic formula for keeping content chaos at bay. This results in consequences that amount to a paradigm shift.
"The trick is to build a CMS in such a way that it reliably meets the changing requirements, without confusing the user with complex technology. And this is precisely what we lay claim to", says Burkert about the successful concept of the modern CMS platform. "The future is now!"
